On October 22nd, 2024, we proudly hosted the second edition of our annual schools' competition, an event designed to inspire and empower the next generation of leaders. This year, the competition brought together 10 schools and 24 bright and passionate students, all eager to share their voices and ideas on some of the most pressing issues facing today’s youth. The event was a two-fold challenge: an essay contest paired with a public speaking competition. Students had the opportunity to craft thoughtful essays and deliver impactful presentations on topics that resonate deeply with their lives and futures. The topics chosen were:

"My Role in Nation Building"
"Leveraging Technology for Personal Development"
"Understanding My Uniqueness; Overcoming Peer Pressure"

These themes were carefully selected to engage the students with the realities and opportunities they face in a rapidly changing world. From discussing how technology can shape their future to exploring the importance of self-awareness and resilience, the topics encouraged deep reflection and bold expression. The students did not disappoint. Throughout the day, they delivered powerful essays and speeches, showcasing their intelligence, creativity, and dedication to personal growth and social change. The atmosphere was charged with energy as the young competitors stood before their peers, parents, and judges, each sharing their unique perspectives and aspirations.

At the close of the event, the top three students were awarded cash prizes for their exceptional performances. However, every student who participated left with something meaningful—a self-help book on identity and self-esteem, along with a water bottle, as a reminder of the importance of self-care and inner strength. We are deeply grateful to our generous sponsors, whose support made this event possible. Their commitment to the development of young minds is truly inspiring, and we look forward to continuing this impactful journey with them in the years to come. This competition was more than just an event; it was a celebration of youth, creativity, and the limitless potential of our future leaders. As we look ahead to next year, we are excited about the positive impact we can make together and the continued growth of these bright young voices.
