About the foundation

Founded in 2009, the Ife Oladunjoye Empowerment Initiative emerged from a simple but profound idea: to nurture young talents and future leaders. What began with a neighborhood holiday coaching session has grown into a dynamic force dedicated to empowering students across our community.

Since our official launch in 2022, we have successfully hosted our inaugural Schools competition, featuring a vibrant spelling bee with participation from nine primary schools. This event marked the beginning of our commitment to creating a supportive and enriching environment for students.

Our approach is centered on four core pillars - R.A.V.E:

1. Recognition and Support: We celebrate outstanding achievements by offering sponsorship and support to help students further their academic and personal growth.

2. Academic Excellence and Literacy: Through engaging spelling bees, debates, essay contests, and other educational activities, we promote high standards of academic achievement and literacy.

3. Values and Teamwork: Our programs emphasize the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork, and perseverance, equipping students with essential life skills.

4. Empowerment and Inspiration: We provide students with opportunities to uncover and develop their unique talents through personalized mentorship and coaching sessions.
